About Act-in

Act-in CZ is part of an international group of companies whose foundations were laid in 1984 in the Netherlands and whose key competence development and implementation center was established in the Czech Republic. The company focuses on the digitization of production with MES/MOM systems, the digitization of maintenance with CMMS systems and the management of production efficiency with OEE systems in the automotive and aerospace industries, engineering, electrical engineering, plastics, textiles, woodworking, paper or food industries. It has acquired its customers in most European countries, as well as in the USA, Mexico or China.

The intensive growth of the sister companies since the 90s exceeding 1,200 employees providing services to manufacturing enterprises aimed at increasing the efficiency of their production and maintenance gave rise to a new department focused on the development of information systems to support the increase of the efficiency of their production and maintenance, from which subsequently thanks to a large increase in customer interest a separate company focused on the development of production and OEE monitoring systems and MES/MOM production management systems and CMMS maintenance management systems was established.

When developing these systems, the company leveraged the extensive experience of more than a thousand colleagues from sister companies operating in hundreds of manufacturing companies in the field of increasing production and maintenance efficiency. The practical experience of colleagues from manufacturing companies has been transformed by experts in the field of information technology into systems that are oriented to the specific needs of managers of production, technology, maintenance, quality or logistics, and at the same time are user-friendly and easy to control by all workers in manufacturing companies, including operators, adjusters, maintenance workers or manipulators.

The interest in information systems for the digitization of production is supported by the worldwide initiatives known as Industry 4.0 and the great wave of interest in building new smart digitized factories and in the implementation of digital transformations of existing factories with the aim of increasing their efficiency and promoting sustainability, including increasing environmental protection.

The global focus of the company leads to the development of systems standardized according to international standards for MES and CMMS systems and brings international projects with implementations in many other countries such as Germany, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, France, England, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia , Italy, Sweden, China, Mexico and the US.
