An overview of the current state of the tool enables both its correct planning into production and the correct planning and management of its preparation and maintenance. An overview of the location of tools allows them to be quickly located and prepared and deployed on the appropriate machines in time.
The use of a mobile application for tablets and phones with the identification of tools and machines through their QR or barcodes or RFID increases the comfort, efficiency and quality of work of toolmakers and adjusters, who have a plan for putting tools on machines at their disposal on a mobile device and can easily monitor the course of their work record to mobile device.
The Tool Management module can be linked to data in ERP systems, CAD/CAM systems or other systems for storing and issuing tools, or systems for tool adjustment.
Within the Act-in MES system, the Tool Management module is integrated in the Maintenance Control module and uses links to the Mobile Maintenance, Performance Analyser, Production Scheduler or Plant Monitor modules in particular.
