Successful maintenance management information systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) represent the beginning of our development in the field of information systems based on more than 35 years of our company's tradition in industrial maintenance and service of machines and production lines.
The development of these applications was reflected in the experience of more than 650 technicians and maintenance engineers in leading manufacturing companies in the automotive industry, aerospace industry, engineering, electrical engineering, plastics industry, woodworking industry, paper industry, textile industry industry and the food industry in Germany, Holland, Belgium, the Czech Republic and other countries in Europe, America and Asia.
The Act-in Maintenance Control system was created as a professional maintenance management tool from real maintenance professionals, giving it a unique position among similar systems from other European and global suppliers.
Act-in offers customers the following three main applications for the digitization of maintenance management:
Maintenance Control – for maintenance planning and management according to CMMS and EAMS standards
Mobile Maintenance – for mobile maintenance with Android and Apple iOS mobile phones and tablets
Condition Monitoring – for online measurement, diagnosis, visualization and archiving of process and technological variables and for predictive maintenance
Smart glasses and augmented reality - for remote maintenance and service support
The applications work on top of one MS SQL database and can communicate with other customer information systems, for example ERP enterprise information systems such as SAP, Axapta, Navision, Oracle, JD Edwards, QAD, Helios, within the scope of data integration Carat, Dimension, QI, etc.
Key strengths of Act-in applications include online connectivity and communication with machines and flawless automated processing of technical, technological and process data. For this purpose, we have developed a very robust hardware and software solution called IMTS box (Independent Mobile Tracking System), which will allow us to connect and process data from any machine regardless of its manufacturer, age and technical equipment.
The system provides online data collection from the production process with digital identification of individual system elements, from the point of view of maintenance especially of machines, tools, spare parts and mobile phones and tablets and their mutual online communication. It is possible to use bar codes, QR codes, RFID, NFC or active IoT elements to identify system elements and their mutual communication. Communication can be provided via many different protocols and converters such as OPC and the latest OPC UA or MTConnect, or for older machines via the RS232/422/485 interface, a bus from the family < strong>Fieldbus etc. It is possible to use, for example, ODBC for communication with third-party databases. In addition to the above standard communication tools, Act-in develops its own specialized communication tools for direct communication with CNC machine tools with control systems Heidenhain, Sinumerik, Fanuc and Mazatrol.
The above maintenance management applications can work independently or can be connected with other MES applications of the Act-in system such as the production planning system Production Scheduler, system ANDON, production terminals Field Client, a system for monitoring the efficiency of OEE machines and operators Performance Analyser, traceability system Traceability or by the system of quality control and process suitability SPC Statistical Quality Control.
Detailed information on individual applications and solutions is given on the respective application pages.
