The production management information system according to Industry 4.0 standards is a key source of information for our customers about the current status of their production processes, order fulfillment, product quality, SPC process eligibility, technical condition, maintenance and OEE utilization of machines, efficiency operators, adherence to technological discipline and compliance with standards, which allows them to respond quickly and effectively to possible deviations from the plan and take timely and effective measures to eliminate them andmanage and increase productivity.
Modern paperless production control system starts with high-quality operative planning of orders for individual workplaces and continues through acceptance of planned orders on touch production terminals by machine operators and further automatic monitoring of machines and the progress of order execution, compliance with technological procedures and control plans, write-offs produced pieces and scraps, writing off the results of quality checks, automatic monitoring of downtime and performance, logging in and out of operators at workplaces, automatic updating of the production plan according to its current performance, and all this is supplemented by online visualization of the plan and the actual fulfillment of orders, downtime and efficiency of OEE machines , the presence and efficiency of operators and the quality achieved on large screens and touch production terminals. An integral part is the subsequent analysis and reporting of the results. The system also uses the most modern technologies of smart glasses (Smart Glasses) and augmented reality (AR).
Data integration of these production control systems into the existing customer information system with automatic data exchange with ERP systems such as SAP, Axapta, Navision, Oracle, JD Edwards, QAD, Helios, Karat, Dimenze, QI, etc. is a matter of course.
Act-in MES is a modular system that allows customers to create scalable solutions corresponding to their current needs, with the possibility of subsequent continuous expansion with additional modules and applications. Major modules and applications include:
Production Scheduler – for production planning
Performance Analyser – for monitoring production and evaluating the efficiency of the use of production capacities (CEZ, OEE)
Field Client – for touch production terminals for operators and maintenance
Plant View – for online visualization of the state of production and technology on large screens in workshops and offices
ANDON – for online reporting of line and machine operator requirements for maintenance, adjusters, supply and quality
Traceability – for online monitoring and control of the complete course of products through the production process, compliance with production procedures and technological conditions, creation of a product pedigree and traceability
Maintenance Control – for maintenance planning and management according to CMMS and EAMS standards
Mobile Maintenance – for mobile maintenance communicating with the Maintenance Control system through a mobile device
Condition Monitoring – for measurement, visualization and archiving of process and technological variables with alarm function
Statistical Quality Control – for creating inspection plans and instructions, records of measurement results and their statistics, including SPC
Smart glasses and augmented reality - for more efficient management of production, quality and service
The applications work on one MS SQL database, and customers can choose individual applications and their modules according to their current needs and financial possibilities. Act-in also offers consultancy in the field of project financing in the form of MPO subsidies for Technology - Industry 4.0.
All applications have a standard basis and are easily configurable according to the needs of individual customers and industries. The main industries where Act-in systems are successfully applied include automotive industry, aerospace industry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plastics industry, woodworking industry, textile industry, paper industry and food industry in many countries Europe, America and Asia.
Key strengths of Act-in MES applications include online connection to machines and flawless automated processing of production and process data. This is taken care of by a robust hardware and software solution called IMTS box (Independent Mobile Tracking System), which allows you to connect and process data from any machine, regardless of its manufacturer, age and technical equipment.
IMTS box provides online data collection from the production process with digital identification of individual elements of the system, especially products, containers, machines, tools and operators and their mutual online communication. It is possible to use bar codes, QR codes, RFID, NFC or active IoT elements to identify system elements and their mutual communication.
Communication can be provided via many different protocols and converters such as OPC and the latest OPC UA or MTConnect, or for older machines via the RS232/422/485 interface, a bus from the family < strong>Fieldbus etc. It is possible to use, for example, ODBC for communication with third-party databases. In addition to the above standard communication tools, Act-in develops its own specialized communication tools for direct communication with CNC machine tools with control systems Heidenhain, Sinumerik, Fanuc and Mazatrol.
More detailed information on individual applications and solutions is provided on individual application pages.
