The Act-in production information system helped us to implement a more systematic approach in monitoring production and recording technical interventions in the maintenance department. The system requires the active access of line operators and supervisors, which leads to a higher quality of information compared to a system of handwritten reports transcribed into Excel spreadsheets. The long-term collected information then serves us for daily, monthly and annual evaluation of downtimes and their causes.
